Drummondville and its suburbs

The Sporting Culture

Visitors can find many activities in Drummondville and its area. As many may think, the city is not only a dynamic industrial city. Nature lovers will be pleased to know they can visit gardens, orchards (verger Duhaime) and greenhouses (Rose Drummond) as often as they wish, according to the season.

The Route verte will let cyclists go wherever they want while the Cascades Triathlon will allow sportsmen and women to achieve a three for one: swimming, biking and running. Races’ fans will be glad to know they can watch car races every Saturday night, from May to September, at the Autodrome Drummond.

Culture and art lovers will also be served, thanks to the Mondial des Cultures, the Légendes Fantastiques and some museums, theatres and art galleries (Galerie d’art L’Union-Vie) here and there. Drummondville arts center is hosting Gilles Latulippe’s summer theatre, while young humorists and singers share the Box-Office Cabaret’s stage.
