There are at least two Saint-Grégoire-Le-Grand churches in the world. The first one is in a charming European village, of Gothic style, which construction started in 1282. The one we are interested in is the one here, in Bécancour. This one is part of Quebec's religious architectural jewel. Built in 1802, it is the oldest church of the Nicolet diocese. Because of its furniture, which is still the same today as it was before, the church was classified historic building in 1957. Souvenirs are available on site. Free admission, but reservations must be done for groups.
