In the Centre-du-Québec region, cheese factories make and commercialize more than 80 different kinds of cheeses. Among these cheeses, about twenty won national and international contests. The Fromagerie L'Ancêtre makes organic cheeses, while the Groupe Fromage Côté distributes under five different banners and proposes the Vacherin, a semi firm cheese. In Warwick, the Festival du fromage presents the new trends, but also cheeses you know well like soft cheese, round or curd cheddar cheese. Along this road, you will also find the Centre d'interprétation de la canneberge in St-Louis-de-Blandford, the Festival de l'érable in Plessisville and the Festival du cochon in Sainte-Perpétue.
