In Fortierville, stop at the Centre d’interprétation Fortierville et son histoire, which presents plays representing the great moments of the city, from the beginnings of the colonization to the foundation of the municipality. Under the theme of “Les sept vies de Fortierville” (Fortierville’s seven lives), the importance of agriculture, the significant developments of religious life and the economical sectors of the municipality will be described. Fortierville is also the city where the tragedy of Aurore the battered child took place. You will be told the famous but not less tragic story of this poor beaten child in a context of prevention of violence towards children.
