Centre d'interprétation de la canneberge

Open from mid-September to mid-October

A Cranberry?

The cranberry is a tart red berry. Quite popular in the United States, almost everyone uses the fruit as an accompaniment for the Thanksgiving fest. In the province of Quebec, we tend to know more and more about it. In fact, the Bois-Francs region is Quebec's cranberry capital. That is why a cranberry interpretation center was build here in 1996. Since then, about 100,000 people have visited the site. The visit might even allow you to see the crop!
