The Saint-Christophe d'Arthabaska Church as we know it today was built in 1873. Its traditional architecture is of Romanesque inspiration. Inside, visitors can, among other things, admire 76 paintings done by Joseph-Thomas Rousseau, a painter and decorator. Some trompe-l'oeil decorations are also said to be early work by Suzor-Côté. The church's first organ was blessed in 1882. In 1940, noticing the very poor state of it, the Casavant's company bought it and used the pieces to build the one that now decorates the church gallery. The Saint-Christophe d'Arthabaska Church is classified national monument since April 2001.
