The story of the L'Angélaine ranch began in 1980, in Texas, when the owners came back to Bécancour in a school bus with a herd of… pure-bred angora goats. They wanted to exploit goat's wool, which is known as mohair. This fibre is very soft and much sought-after by the fashion industry. Upon reservation, visitors can walk through the ranch and the interpretation pavilion. The boutique is open year round since 1996. The hand-crafted knitwear collections are quite impressive. The Kidmohair socks don't need presentation anymore as they keep your feet warm. In 2007, the ranch and the Boutique L'Angélaine won two awards regarding their original products.
